The
2007 Willowbank Jazz Festival
Willowbank's 5th
annual Jazz Festival was a resounding success thanks in part to strong
public support, community partnerships and an indefatigable volunteer
base. The event raised over $13,000 with approximately
350 in attendance for the day-long festivities which included jazz
greats, Peter Appleyard, John Sherwood, Frankie Phelan Five and Bobby
Militello.
"Our benefactors,
volunteers and staff can be proud of what they accomplished this
year," said Brian Kremen, Executive Director. "All
proceeds will support the School of restoration Arts at Willowbank,
a legacy the Board and staff are committed to nurture on behalf of
Willowbank Founder,
Laura Dodson" he said.
